Guest Speaker – Daimon King

Daimon is a blend of the north and south as he was born in New Jersey and grew up in North Carolina. Daimon serves as the current CCTA chairman.

As the Pastor at New Beginnings Celebration, Pastor Daimon has a fantastic relationship with the community and the political, elected leadership of New Bern and Craven County. As a Christian, he is also a Conservative and a Patriot, which automatically qualifies him as a Republican. He is a delegate to Craven County GOP, works for team Robinson, he is a member of the God and Country Christian Alliance, the Chairman for the Coastal Carolina Taxpayers Association, County Liaison for the Frederick Douglass Foundation of North Carolina, City Coordinator for BLEXIT/Turning Point USA, and has served as New Bern Club President and Area Director for Toastmasters Internation District 37.

As an award winning public speaker, he has had the privilege to speak at many Republican events that featured the likes of Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson, State Treasurer Dale Folwell, Senator Norm Sanderson, and a host of other Republican Patriots and Statesmen throughout North Carolina. His influence of biblical truth and Conservatism permeates his home, his extended family, his church, his community, and the entire atmosphere wherever the Lord leads. A true patriot, the Pledge of Allegiance, as well as songs like “The Star Spangled Banner”, “America the Beautiful”, and “God Bless the USA”, still brings tears to his eyes.

He is married to Alice, his wife of 21 years, and they have 4 adult children.
